Our Story
Founded by Jason Gettler in 2026, our company was built on more than a decade of hands-on experience in residential construction. Before launching our HERS testing division, Jason spent years as a licensed general contractor, managing projects from the ground up and navigating the same inspection and compliance challenges our clients face today.
In California, HERS (Home Energy Rating System) testing is required to verify compliance with Title 24 energy efficiency standards. These tests ensure that HVAC systems, insulation, and building envelopes are properly installed to meet the state’s energy and carbon reduction goals. When systems are installed incorrectly, it can lead to failed inspections, energy waste, high utility bills, and poor indoor air quality.
Because of our construction background, we understand both sides of the process. We bridge the gap between contractors, homeowners, and inspectors—helping projects pass compliance smoothly and move forward to final approval without unnecessary delays.

Our Team
Jason Gettler is the Founder and Lead HERS Tester, bringing over a decade of hands-on construction experience to every project. As a Certified HERS Rater and Licensed General Contractor, Jason has spent more than 10 years building, remodeling, and problem-solving in real homes—giving him a practical, real-world approach to energy compliance.
Born in New Jersey and raised in Southern California since the age of two, Jason is a true local. He graduated from Marina High School in Huntington Beach and continued his education at Golden West College and Santa Ana College.
Jason has been happily married to his wife, Angelica, for six years, and together they are raising two amazing children. Family is at the center of everything he does, and that same care and commitment carries into his work with every client.
Construction isn’t just Jason’s profession—it’s his passion. After more than a decade as a general contractor, he genuinely enjoys the process of building things the right way, solving challenges, and helping projects succeed. That passion translates into thorough inspections, clear communication, and practical solutions that save time and money.
When he’s not on a job site or reviewing plans, you’ll likely find Jason spending time with his family, enjoying comedy, staying active at the gym, or simply relaxing and recharging.
